The Ashtami Tithi of Krishna Paksha of Jyeshtha month is starting on 20th May at 5:51 am. This Tithi will end on 21st May at 4:55 am. In such a situation, the fast of monthly Krishna Janmashtami will be observed on Tuesday, 20th May. The auspicious time for Puja on this day is going to be from 11:57 pm to 12:38 am.

- On the day of monthly Janmashtami, wake up early in the morning and take bath etc.
- After this, ring the bell and wake up Laddu Gopal.
- After bathing Laddu Gopal, dress him in clean and new clothes.
- Apply sandalwood tilak to Laddu Gopal and decorate him with devotion.
- Add basil leaves and offer butter-sugar or panchamrit.
- Finally perform Aarti while chanting Lord Krishna's mantras.
Offer these things
On the day of monthly Krishna Janmashtami, you can offer Kheer, Makhan, Mishri, Panchamrit etc. to Laddu Gopal as Prasad. Do include Tulsi Dal in the Prasad, because without it, the offering to Laddu Gopal is considered incomplete. Along with this, offering flute and peacock feather to Laddu Gopal is also considered very auspicious.
