
News Topical, Digital Desk : The Ministry of Railways has introduced a new weekly express train connecting Bhavnagar in Gujarat to Ayodhya Cantt in Uttar Pradesh. "Train no. 19201/19202 Bhavnagar-Ayodhya Cantt-Bhavnagar Express aims to enhance long-distance connectivity in Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh," the railways said in a statement.
This train will pass through these cities
The new train will be inaugurated by Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav from Bhavnagar today. This special train will cover a total distance of 1,552 km in approximately 28 hours 45 minutes. The train will pass through major cities like Vadodara, Abu Road, Ajmer, Jaipur, Kanpur and Lucknow before reaching Ayodhya Cantt.
Know when regular train services will start
Regular services will start from Bhavnagar from August 11, 2025 and from Ayodhya Cantt from August 12, 2025. The train will run once a week. The train will have 22 coaches including AC 2-tier, AC 3-tier, sleeper class, general class and parcel/luggage van. The entire route will be electrified and powered by electric engines. The primary maintenance of the train will be done at Bhavnagar.
CMs of MP and Chhattisgarh will also be present
Along with this, these trains are to be inaugurated today. Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav and Chhattisgarh CM Vishnu Dev Sai will also be present in this.

- A new train started to connect Jabalpur and Raipur
- Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will be present in the program
- Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai will be present in the program organized in Raipur
