Pune: Police have arrested two suspects at Pune Airport. A 27-year-old man named Salim Golekhan has been arrested along with his father from the airport. It is alleged that this man entered Pune Airport using a fake airline ticket.
The man was going to Lucknow with his father
The incident came to light when Salim was trying to board a flight to Lucknow with his father. After the arrest, an FIR was registered at the airport police station.
What did the police say?
Pune Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar said that the police arrested a person from Pune airport for illegally entering India using a fake ticket. The accused has been booked under IPC sections 336 (3), 339, 340 and 3(5).
However, police said there was no terror angle to the case and further investigation was on.
