News Topical, Digital Desk : The disaster in Dharali has not only caused loss of life and property but has also brought business to a complete standstill. Gangotri Dham, one of the four Dhams of Uttarakhand, is currently deserted. Shops here are locked and saints and sages are immersed in penance in their ashrams.
This scene is looking more dangerous than in winters, because there is a lot of hustle and bustle during winters too, but during this disaster not even a single devotee is seen in Gangotri Dham. If the local people are to be believed, they say that lack of caution has not only caused loss of life and property, but has also brought the business to a complete standstill.
People are not visible in Gangotri
Such a sight has never been seen in Gangotri Dham as is being seen this time, people are not visible here, people have closed their businesses and gone to their homes and the shops are locked.
The disaster has devastated people in many ways. The state government is trying its best but it will take a long time for the local people to recover from this disaster.
Dharali to Harshil pedestrian route is still bad
Right now the footpath to Dharali village and Harshil has not been repaired, due to which the help that the local people should have received has not been received yet. It is expected that in the next 1 to 2 days all the routes to reach here will be made operational, after which the rescue work will be done faster, but if we talk about the present, then there is a kind of silence here in Gangotri Dham.
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is constantly monitoring the situation. At the same time, tireless efforts are being made to improve the situation in the disaster-affected area and to rescue the missing people. At the same time, the rescue operation is going on continuously in the area by the relief and rescue team. Every day devotees and people buried under the debris are being found and rescued from there.
