News Topical, Digital Desk : The news of the breakup of Bollywood actor-director Palaash Muchhal and Indian cricketer Smriti Mandhana has been the most talked about. The ex-couple were set to tie the knot in November, and pre-wedding functions had already been held.

But their marriage broke down on the wedding day itself. Initially, reports surfaced that Smriti Mandhana 's father suddenly fell ill, causing the wedding to be postponed. However, Palash was later accused of cheating on Smriti. Amidst this controversy, Nandish Sandhu, who attended the ex-couple's pre-wedding, has now reacted.

Nandish spoke on the Palash-Smriti controversy

Nandish Sandhu, who played a key role in Smuggling: The Smugglers' Web, attended Palash and Smriti's mehndi ceremony. Now, after news of the marriage's breakdown broke, Nandish has reacted to the matter for the first time. Instead of discussing the wedding controversy or the breakdown, he simply stated that Palash should be given a chance to present his side of the story. In a conversation with Miss Malini, the actor said:

It is better not to say anything in this matter right now and give Palash a chance to present his side.

Smriti's father fell ill on the wedding day.

Nandish Sandhu also said that he had gone to Sangli for Palash Muchhal and Smriti's wedding, where he learned that the wedding was not happening. He also revealed that Smriti Mandhana's father was indeed ill. He said:

It was postponed because it was what was reported in the news. You guys were told. Everyone was told. Smriti's father wasn't feeling well. He was in the hospital. That's why everything has been postponed.

Nandish said that after the wedding was cancelled, all that was said and done was blame Palash, and he felt very bad about it.
