News Topical, Digital Desk : A panic broke out in Jaipur when a leopard entered the official bungalow of Rajasthan government minister Suresh Rawat. The staff at the bungalow were stunned by the ferocious leopard and immediately informed the forest department and police. A forest department team arrived at the scene and is conducting a search operation.
A leopard was spotted in Jaipur's high-security Civil Lines area on Thursday, roaming around a school and the official bungalow of Rajasthan Cabinet Minister Suresh Singh Rawat, officials said.
Rescue operation underway
The Civil Lines zone includes the Raj Bhavan, the Chief Minister's residence, and government quarters for senior ministers and officials. Suresh Singh's bungalow is directly opposite the residence of senior Congress leader Sachin Pilot. Forest department teams have launched a search and rescue operation.
Appeal to people to stay indoors
Ranger Jitendra Singh Shekhawat said teams were searching the minister's bungalow and nearby houses. Efforts were underway to tranquilize the leopard and safely capture it. He said more teams had been deployed to cordon off the area, and people were advised to stay indoors until the animal was located. News of the leopard entering the VVIP area caused panic.
