News Topical, Digital Desk : Ayodhya: Shri Ramjanmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust's general secretary Champat Rai said that the construction work of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya will be completed by October 2025. After this, devotees will be able to visit all the 16 temples built in the temple complex. Currently, the idols have been consecrated in all the temples, but the construction work is still going on. The flag of the temple will also be hoisted on the main peak of Ram Mandir in October. The construction work of Ram Mandir's rampart is going on at a fast pace these days. The rampart is being made 14 feet wide and 732 meters long.

Beautiful carvings have been done on the rampart

Like the Ram temple, this rampart made of pink sandstone has beautiful carvings, in which the Leelas related to the life of Lord Ram will be seen. The idols in the 6 temples built in the rampart, Shivling, Surya Bhagwan, Ganpati, Hanuman, Maa Bhagwati and Annapurna have been consecrated on 5 June 2025. The shikharas of all these temples have also been built. Apart from this, the seven temples of Sapta Rishis and Sheshavatar temple in the complex have also been consecrated. Champat Rai said that devotees will have to wait for darshan in these temples.

Ram Darbar is decorated on the first floor

Currently, 80,000 to 1 lakh devotees are visiting the sanctum sanctorum on the ground floor of the Ram temple to have darshan of Lord Ram, where the Lord is seated in the child form. Ram Darbar has been decorated on the first floor, where Raja Ram, Maa Sita, Bharat, Shatrughan, Laxman and Hanuman ji are seated. All these idols are carved from white marble of Makrana. The idol of Lord Ram and Sita is made from a single stone. The idol of Lord Ram in Ram Darbar is four and a half feet high in a blessing posture, which is seated on a four and a half feet throne. Bharat and Hanuman are near the feet in Das Bhava, while Laxman and Shatrughan are standing behind.

Lift will be installed for the convenience of the elderly

Devotees have to climb 40 stairs to visit Ram Darbar. The polishing work is still going on on these marble stairs. According to the trust, only about 1,000 people will be able to visit Ram Darbar in a day. The work of installing a lift for the convenience of the elderly is yet to be done. The 5 shikharas of Ram Mandir are adding to its grandeur. About 45 kg of gold has been used on the shikharas and the ground floor doors, which is worth about Rs 50 crore. 

'All work will be completed in the next one year'

Champat Rai said that the main construction of the Ram temple will be completed by October, but four gates are to be built around the complex. One gate has been built, one is under construction, and two gates are yet to be built. The trust's office, rest house, and auditorium are also under construction. The construction of the wall around the complex has not started yet. Rai said that all these works will be completed in the next one year.
