News Topical, Digital Desk : A 100-year-old dilapidated house collapsed in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Several people were buried in the accident, causing panic in the surrounding area. Locals immediately reported the incident to the Bajaria police station, after which police rescued four people from the debris and admitted them to the hospital. 

This incident occurred in the Beconganj area of ​​Kanpur. It is reported that the house was quite old and in dilapidated condition. The ground floor of the house housed a tea stall and a mobile phone shop, which made it quite crowded. 

100-year-old house collapses

When the accident occurred on Monday night around 10 o'clock, several people were sitting at a tea stall. A small amount of debris from the house began to fall. Some people fled, but others paid little attention. Suddenly, one side of the house collapsed. 

Rescue of four people 

In the accident, Manzoor, the shopkeeper, Salim, and other bystanders, including Tariq, Riaz Ahmed, and Dilshad, were also trapped under the debris, leading to widespread panic. Police and firefighters immediately arrived at the scene, brought the situation under control, and began a rescue operation. 

Rescue teams have so far pulled four people from the rubble. All four have been sent to a nearby hospital where they are receiving treatment. According to reports, the house is estimated to be around a hundred years old. Ayub, also from Beconganj, purchased it 20 years ago. Manzoor lived in the house on rent and ran a tea shop downstairs.
