Kanpur: A young man died for falling in love; the girl's brothers beat him to death.

Initial police investigations have revealed a love affair, and CCTV footage of the assault has also emerged. Police have arrested one suspect in the case, while raids are underway to search for the other accomplices. The incident reportedly occurred near Gopal Tower in the Rawatpur police station area.

According to information received regarding the incident, the deceased, Lucky, worked in a private job near Gopal Tower in the Rawatpur police station area. He was in a love relationship with a girl in the neighborhood, which his friends disapproved of. His friends repeatedly tried to reason with Lucky, but he refused; he was willing to do anything for his girlfriend.

The accused brutally beat up the youth

On the night of the incident, Lucky was on his way to his friend's place to fill up his bike when he was brutally assaulted by four young men on bikes who had been waiting in ambush. The beating left Lucky severely injured. His family initially rushed him to a private hospital, where doctors refused to treat him. The family then took him to a cardiology clinic, where he was pronounced dead.

The mother of the deceased told the whole truth

Meanwhile, the deceased's mother, Lakshmi Singh, said that a girl from the neighborhood used to talk to her son. She alleged that the girl's brother, Rohit, killed her son, Lucky. She also stated that the girl frequently visited their home. She demanded strict action against the accused and the girls in this case. 

Police arrested one accused

Meanwhile, the family, enraged by the beatings by the accused, complained to the police and demanded strict action. Based on the family's complaint, the police registered a case against four boys. The Rawatpur police station has arrested one boy, while the search for the other three accused is ongoing.

CCTV video of the assault surfaced

Meanwhile, a video of a man being assaulted in public has also surfaced. In the video, Lucky is seen walking away from his bike, when his companions disembark and assault him. Police have formed three teams to arrest the other accused involved in the incident.

ADCP Kapil Dev Singh said that the accused, Rohit Chauhan, Ankur, Mohit, and Abhay, have been identified. A complaint has been received and a case has been registered. One main accused has been arrested, while efforts are being made to arrest others.
