News Topical, Digital Desk : In Kannauj, Uttar Pradesh, Asim Arun, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Social Welfare, left an event midway, upset by the district administration's negligence. It is reported that the minister left the event venue, angered by the district magistrate's failure to arrive on time.

According to reports, the Tourism Department organized an event themed "Find Your Roots" at the Roma Memorial in the Sadar area. Minister Asim Arun was invited as the chief guest at the event at 5:30 pm and arrived at the venue on time.

However, the main organizer of the event and several senior officials did not arrive on time. It was reported that the SDM Vaishali arrived at the venue approximately 15 minutes after the minister's arrival, while several other officials were absent. The minister had to wait approximately 45 minutes for the event to begin. During this time, announcements were continuously made from the stage that the event would begin upon the minister's arrival.

After waiting for about 45 minutes, when the program did not begin and senior district administration officials did not arrive, Minister Asim Arun, considering it a disrespect to him, left the venue. Other BJP leaders and workers also left with him.

Aseem Arun wrote a letter to the DM

Minister Aseem Arun has expressed his displeasure over the matter by writing a letter to the District Magistrate. In the letter, he stated that the event held at the Roma Memorial was chaotic and the timings were not adhered to. He explained that he was invited as the chief guest at 5:30 pm and arrived on time, but his experience there was contrary to courtesy and punctuality.

In the letter, the minister wrote that the main organizer of the event, SDM Vaishali, arrived 15 minutes after he did, followed by the ADM. He waited for approximately 45 minutes for the event to begin, but it was unclear when the other officials would arrive. Consequently, he had no choice but to leave the venue.

The minister also stated in the letter that as public servants, officials should draw inspiration from the working styles of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath , who are known for their punctuality and discipline. He expressed the expectation that in the future, the district administration will ensure that punctuality is maintained at events it organizes.
