News Topical, Digital Desk : Kailash is an attractive peak located in the far south-west corner of Tibet in the Himalayas. It is said that Bholenath, the destroyer of the universe, meditates deeply on this peak. This is an important religious place for four religions - Buddhism, Jainism, Hinduism and Tibetan Bon religion.

But, no one has been able to climb this mountain till date. Although there are many mountains higher than this mountain, whose peaks have been reached by mountaineers. But, climbing Kailash (Kailash Mountain Mystery) is not in anyone's power.

Situated at an altitude of 6638 metres (21778 ft), it is one of the highest parts of the Himalayas and the source of some of the longest rivers in Asia, according to information given on the Uttarakhand government website. 

 

Its structure is like a pyramid

In Tibet it is known as Gang Tse or Gang Rinproche. It is a pyramid shaped peak which is not found anywhere else in the world. Thousands of people from all over the world make pilgrimage to this place every year. The 52 km trek is not an easy one.

Usually people take 3 days to complete this journey on foot. Hindu and Buddhist pilgrims walk in a clockwise direction. Whereas, Jain and Bon followers walk in a counterclockwise direction. One must be strong both physically and mentally to complete it.

Why couldn't anyone climb this mountain?

In the past several years, many mountaineers have tried unsuccessfully to climb Kailash (Kailash Mountain Mystery). No one has been able to reach its peak. Scientific research says that the magnetic field in Kailash is very high. Due to this, modern technology and compass stop working here. 

 

Climbing Kailash is challenging

Climbing Kailash is much more challenging and mysterious than Mount Everest. This mountain is shaped like a pyramid from all sides. There is a lot of sudden seasonal change here and the energy movement is so much that climbers get mental confusion and fatigue, due to which they are unable to move forward. 

Some climbers have told that there are some invisible powers here, which stop them from moving ahead in Kailash. The speed of time increases a lot on Kailash. They have also shared the experience of people's nails and hair growing rapidly in a few hours.
