News Topical, Digital Desk : High-voltage drama erupted early Sunday (November 2) at the Majhiyan Zonal Office in Jharkhand's Garhwa district when Circle Officer (CO) Pramod Kumar was caught red-handed by his wife with another woman in his official residence. The enraged wife locked the CO and his girlfriend in a room and locked it from outside. The CO's wife, Dr. Shyama Rani, is reportedly the daughter of a former Bihar MP.

According to the incident, the CO's wife, Dr. Shyama Rani, had been suspicious of her husband for some time. She received information that her husband was at the government residence with his girlfriend. Upon receiving information, she arrived at the residence around 4 a.m. on Sunday morning.

He sneaked into the house by jumping over the wall.

Upon reaching the residence, she scaled the wall and sneaked inside. There, she allegedly found her husband, Pramod Kumar, sleeping in the same room with another woman. Enraged, she locked all three doors of the room from the outside.

Senior police officers also reached the spot.

When the CO realized he was trapped, he began shouting for the lock to be opened, causing a commotion. Senior police officers arrived at the scene, but their efforts were ineffective in the face of his wife's fury. After a prolonged drama, the CO finally jumped off the roof and began a commotion.

Meanwhile, Majhiyan police detained the CO's girlfriend from the government residence and handed her over to the women's police station for investigation.

CO's wife Dr. Shyama Rani told the media, "I had suspicions for a long time, but today he was caught red-handed. Now we will take the help of law."

The girlfriend has been handed over to the police

The CO's father-in-law and former Bihar MP Shriram Manjhi, who arrived at the scene, said he wanted justice. Meanwhile, the CO's brother-in-law, Roshan Kumar, said he thought it was a simple quarrel between husband and wife, but after being caught red-handed today, he handed over the girlfriend to the police and will take legal action.

Police officials have described it as a "family matter." They say they have not yet received any written application from the wife in this matter. Further action will be taken only after the application is received.
