News Topical, Digital Desk : Jaipur Rain: Monsoon rain is falling in Rajasthan's capital Jaipur for the fifth day on Tuesday (24 June). At times it is raining heavily and at other times it is drizzling. Monsoon had knocked here a week earlier this year and for the last five days, heavy rain has been continuously falling in most parts of the state. Due to continuous rain, the weather has become very pleasant in the entire Rajasthan including the capital Jaipur. This has brought a lot of relief to the people troubled by the heat. 

There has been a huge drop in temperature in Rajasthan in the last five days. However, the first monsoon rain in the last five days has exposed the claims of the government in Jaipur. Rainwater is filling up all the roads in Jaipur. 

People are facing a lot of problems due to waterlogging. Water is filling up to one and a half to two feet at many places. Due to heavy rains and waterlogging at many places, roads have collapsed at many places.

Many vehicles got submerged
in the road which caved in in Jaipur's Muhana Mandi area 3 days ago. On Monday, a young man died after slipping and falling into a drain. Even today, many areas in Jaipur including Malviya Nagar are flooded with water. A vehicle of the Municipal Corporation, which is responsible for saving the city from drowning, was seen stuck in water at the Apex Circle.

Traffic jam problem:
Due to continuous rain and waterlogging, the problem of traffic jam has also come to the fore. There is traffic jam on many roads. Vehicles are seen standing at one place for a long time. It can be said that the first rain of monsoon has brought both relief and trouble. People troubled by heat have got relief due to this rain, while waterlogging has become a cause of trouble for the people. 

The first cycle of monsoon is expected to continue in Rajasthan for the next few days. This will make the weather pleasant but waterlogging will continue to be a cause of trouble for the people of Jaipur.
