He said that in international relations, countries are driven by their own interests, and India should chart its course accordingly without compromise. He emphasized that the country must be economically and socially strong to effectively address international developments.

According to a release issued by the RSS on Monday, Bhagwat addressed people at an event organised on Sunday. He also met film personalities and senior officials during his visit to the city.

When asked about the infiltration of Bangladeshis and Rohingyas into the country, he said it is the government's responsibility to identify and deport illegal immigrants. Citizens can bring these matters to the attention of the authorities.
