News Topical, Digital Desk : Indigo flight was coming from Jeddah to Hyderabad. Meanwhile, a bomb threat was received. In such a situation, the plane was made to make an emergency landing in Mumbai itself. However, during the investigation, nothing suspicious was found in the plane. On receiving the bomb threat, ATC declared an emergency for flight number 6E068 at 7.32. This plane was A320 Neo. The arrival time of the plane in Mumbai was 8.7, but it was changed to 8.20. During this, complete preparations were made including fire brigade. The plane landed at 8.17. After the investigation was completed, all the teams were sent back by 12 o'clock. 

An IndiGo spokesperson, describing the incident, said, "On November 1, 2025, a security threat was identified for IndiGo flight 6E 68 from Jeddah to Hyderabad and the aircraft was diverted to Mumbai. Following established protocols, we immediately informed the relevant authorities and fully cooperated with them in conducting the necessary security checks before clearing the aircraft for further operations. We made every effort to minimize the inconvenience to our customers, including providing them with refreshments and sharing regular updates. As always, the safety of our customers, crew, and aircraft is our top priority." 

Hyderabad airport received threats

A bomb threat to an Indigo plane was received at Hyderabad Airport at 5:25 a.m. on Saturday. The email claimed that ISI and LTTE operatives were on board the flight. They had planned an attack similar to the Madras Airport bombings. The email, sent from an ID named Papita Ranjan, stated that bombs had been planted in the fuel tank using microbots. However, an investigation revealed the bomb threat to be completely false. Following this, an investigation has been initiated into the email ID from which the threat was sent.
