
News Topical, Digital Desk : The Indian government has taken action against another Pakistani official and has asked him to leave the country. India has declared an official working in the Pakistani High Commission in Delhi as persona non grata. Earlier also, the Indian government had declared an official named Danish as persona non grata and had shown him the way out of the country within 24 hours.
Notice was also given to the High Commission in-charge
Besides, MEA has also issued a demarche to the Charge d'Affaires of the Pakistani High Commission in connection with such matters, in which he has been cautioned that no Pakistani diplomat or official in India should misuse his privileges.
What was said in the press release?
In a press release issued by MEA, it was said that the Government of India today declared a Pakistani official working in the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi as persona non grata after finding him involved in activities contrary to his official status in the country. The Government of India has asked the official to leave India within 24 hours.
Also, a demarche in this regard was issued today to the Charge d'Affaires of the Pakistan High Commission. He was asked to ensure that no Pakistani diplomat or official in India misuses his privileges and status in any way.
Danish has been thrown out
Earlier, the Indian government had declared Ahsan-ur-Rahim alias Danish as persona non grata and asked him to leave the country. The Indian government had ordered Danish to leave the country on 13 May on the charge of spying in India against his position and privileges.
