News Topical, Digital Desk : The Indian Army's elite unit, the Bhairav Commandos, displayed their valor and skill in "Operation Thar Shakti 2025" at the Longewala border near the India-Pakistan border in Rajasthan's Jaisalmer district. Along with the Bhairav Commandos, infantry, artillery, and Army Air Defense units also participated in this exercise. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh warned Pakistan on this occasion, saying, “The Army has given Pakistan a lesson in Operation Sindoor. But if Pakistan dares to do anything again, this time Pakistan will be destroyed.”

The power of the army was seen in 'Thar Shakti'

In 'Operation Thar Shakti', the Indian Army practiced operations such as tank column movement, artillery firing, and air support for the ground forces. The Army Air Defence team practiced attacking the enemy with kamikaze drones. Artificial intelligence-based targeting systems, electronic warfare systems, indigenous Arjun and T-90 tanks, and Pinaka rocket systems were used in this exercise. The aim of this exercise was to prepare for the use of modern technology and artificial intelligence in future warfare. The exercise placed special emphasis on joint operations, self-reliance, and innovation among the three services.

Memories of 1971 and the echoes of Operation Sindoor

Longewala is the historic site where, in 1971, 120 soldiers of the Punjab Regiment bravely fought off a Pakistani force of 2,000 soldiers and 40 tanks. Recalling this valor, the Defense Minister said, "Operation Sindoor will go down in history not only as a military operation, but also as a symbol of the nation's courage and restraint. The action taken by our forces against the terrorists was consistent with both policy precision and human dignity. The operation is not over yet. Our mission for peace will continue as long as even a single person with a terrorist mindset remains alive."

Defense Minister's worship at Tanot Mata Temple

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday offered prayers at the Tanot Mata Temple in Jaisalmer. He was accompanied by Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi and 'Battle X' Division Commander Major General Ashish Khurana. Singh performed Jalabhishek at the Mahadev Temple and tied a handkerchief to a Khejri tree near the Mansa Mata Temple to fulfill his wishes. He also saw the unexploded bombs dropped on the Tanot Mata Temple during the 1965 Indo-Pak war. Singh said, "I feel proud to have visited Tanot Mata and my life has been blessed."

Pakistan is facing a double blow

Seeing India's military might, the difficulties of Pakistani Army General Munir must have increased. Meanwhile, Afghan fighters have also given Pakistan sleepless nights. The Afghan Taliban do not recognize the Durand Line as a border and claim Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) as their territory. Afghan fighters are challenging the Pakistani Army, saying, "If you have drunk mother's milk, then come to this side sometime, we will teach you a taste of war." Former Pakistani military officers also say that Afghanistan has worsened Munir's situation. Now, Pakistan faces a well on one side and a ditch on the other.
