Actually, the Indian Space Research Organization i.e. ISRO is going to launch the EOS-09 satellite on June 18 next month. This satellite is also known as RISAT-1B. Let us tell you that this satellite of ISRO will be launched from Satish Dhawan Space Center located in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh. What will the satellite do?

This satellite will be launched by ISRO through PSLV-C61 XL launch vehicle. This vehicle will carry the 1,710 kg EOS-09 satellite to an orbit of 529 km. Let us tell you that this satellite of India is equipped with C-band synthetic aperture radar (SAR), which will provide high-resolution photos of the earth's surface, day and night, regardless of weather conditions.

What will the army benefit from?

The EOS-09 satellite is the seventh satellite in the RISAT series and is expected to play a vital role in the country's defence operations. It will provide crucial information for military planning and operations and will also be used for disaster management and monitoring of natural resources.

The satellite will be launched by ISRO on June 18 at 6:59 am from Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh. Experts say that the launch of this satellite will prove to be an important milestone in India's space program.
