News Topical, Digital Desk : Iran's Consul General in Mumbai, Saeed Reza Mosayeb Motlagh, has praised the constructive role of major global powers, especially India, in establishing regional stability amid rising tensions.

Highlighting New Delhi's unwavering commitment to diplomacy, Motlagh said that India, along with China and Russia, prioritizes restoring global peace over military intervention. He added that India, Russia, and China will play a crucial role in countering American warmongering.

'Neither justified nor supported the attack'

"India, China, and Russia have demonstrated their desire for peace by not intervening in the conflict, even at the risk of their own interests. They did not justify or support the US attack, nor did they put themselves in a position to provide military assistance to Iran. Rather, they sought to promote peace and stabilize economic markets," Motlagh said.

'Worked as global stakeholders'

The Consul General stressed that although these powers have acted as responsible global stakeholders, the path to de-escalation remains blocked due to a lack of mutual cooperation on the part of Washington.

"However, it appears that they have not yet succeeded in convincing the US. Nevertheless, these three major powers are expected to exert their influence to persuade the US to cease its warmongering and to pressure the autocratic and repressive government of Israel, which is the source of immoral behavior in the world," he said.
