In Aligarh, miscreants vandalized the dargah and damaged the tomb, police started investigation:

News Topical, Digital Desk : Aligarh News: On the occasion of Muharram, in Jattari town of Thana Tappal area of Aligarh, the tomb was damaged and the railing was broken by breaking inside the years old dargah built on the roadside. After this incident, an atmosphere of tension was created in the area. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and after gathering information about the incident from the people of the area, started investigating the case while searching for the miscreants who entered the tomb from the back wall and vandalized it.

According to the information received, the entire incident is from Jattari town of Thana Tappal area. Where miscreants broke the wall and steel railing of the tomb by entering the years old dargah built on the roadside. As soon as the information of vandalism in the dargah was received, there was a stir in the police department. In a hurry, senior police officers including the area police station chief reached the spot.

Local resident Shahzad Khan said that there is a graveyard on the main road in Jattari town. The tomb of Hafiz Allah Mayer Shah is built on the roadside near this graveyard. On the occasion of Muharram, the people of the Muslim community had kept the dargah open since last night. During this, on the occasion of Muharram, a young man reached his father's grave at around 6:30 am on Sunday morning to light incense sticks, then he saw that the wall of the dargah and the tomb were damaged.

Police Circle Officer Khair Varun Kumar Singh, who is searching for the accused,
said that there is a shrine built on the roadside in the town of Jattari of Thana Tappal area. About 50-60 meters of wall built behind this shrine has been broken by some unknown people. The police took immediate cognizance of the said incident and a case is being registered in Tappal police station on the basis of the complaint of the person who takes care of the shrine. Along with this, CCTV cameras are also being installed at the place of the incident. Soon the incident will be revealed and strict action will be taken by the police against the culprits.
