
News Topical, Digital Desk : Police have made a significant discovery in the case of a man's murder over a land dispute in Ajmer, Rajasthan. Police have arrested five people in connection with the murder. The accused buried the body in a 6-foot-deep pit to hide it, so that no one would notice.
According to Ajmer police, the accused lured a man named Lekhraj to a fake birthday party. Once there, they murdered him. To conceal the murder, they buried him in a 6- to 7-foot-deep pit. Furthermore, they placed bags of salt near the body to prevent any odor.
Ajmer Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Himanshu Jangid said the police had launched an investigation after receiving a missing information from a boy whose father, Lekhraj, had gone missing.

ASP Jangid told news agency ANI, "On the 14th, information was received about a boy whose father Lekhraj had gone missing after attending a birthday party. Lekhraj's abandoned motorcycle was found, following which the police started an investigation. It was found that Lekhraj had attended a fake birthday party organised by Shyam Singh Rawat, with whom he had a land dispute."
Salt bags to mask the smell
ASP Jangid further said that Lekhraj was lured to a party, murdered and his body was found in a six to seven feet deep pit near Kota, where sacks of salt were kept to mask the smell.
Five people arrested
Police have arrested five people in connection with the incident and more arrests are expected. He said that after extensive efforts by the entire team of the North Circle, police have recovered the body and arrested five suspects so far, with more arrests expected soon. Further investigation is underway.
