News Topical, Digital Desk : Former Union Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party leader Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti has become the Chairperson of the National Commission for Backward Classes. She assumed office on Wednesday, March 18. Sharing photos of her taking charge, Jyoti wrote on the social media site Facebook, "Sarvamangal Mangalye Shivaye Sarvartha Sadhike. Sharanye Tryambake Gauri Narayani Namostute." She assumed office as Chairperson of the National Commission for Backward Classes in New Delhi.

He wrote that he expressed his heartfelt gratitude to President Draupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for entrusting him with this responsibility dedicated to protecting the dignity, rights, and overall development of the backward classes   . The National Commission for Backward Classes is committed to ensuring that backward classes receive equal opportunities for justice, security, respect, and development. The Commission is committed to working with this spirit. “Only when backward classes are empowered will India progress on the path of all-round development.”
