In a shocking incident in Bengaluru, a husband stabbed his wife to death in public; they had been married three months earlier.

News Topical, Digital Desk : A shocking incident has come to light in Bengaluru, the capital of Karnataka. A young man stabbed his 32-year-old wife to death. The couple's minor daughter was also present at the scene during the incident.

The incident occurred on Monday. 35-year-old Lohitashva had married Rekha just three months earlier. According to police, this was their second marriage. The accused publicly stabbed his wife to death at a bus stand.

Public murder of wife

Police say the accused stabbed Rekha multiple times in the chest and abdomen. Rekha was severely injured in the incident. Rekha's daughter was also present at the scene and witnessed her mother's bloodshed.

The marriage took place 3 months ago

Giving details of the incident, police said that Rekha worked at a call center and Lohitashva was a cab driver. They met through a mutual friend and later became involved in a relationship. After dating for about a year and a half, they got married.

Police arrested

Family discord is believed to be the motive behind this incident. Rekha had a daughter from her first marriage, who lived with her maternal grandparents at Rekha's maternal home. Rekha and Lohitashva had often quarreled since their marriage. Even before the incident, they had a heated argument, after which Rekha took her daughter to the bus stand. Meanwhile, Lohitashva followed them to the bus stand and stabbed Rekha to death. The police have registered a murder case. Lohitashwa has been taken into custody. The police are investigating the entire matter.
