News Topical, Digital Desk : Public life in Kanpur will be affected on Thursday, April 23rd due to repair work. Kesco will cut power in seven feeder areas. Meanwhile, due to pipeline laying on the Company Bagh to Rawatpur road, there will be a diversion until May 7th. Traffic arrangements have also been altered in Fazalganj due to a pipeline burst.

Kesco will also carry out HT pole installation, cable installation and 11KV reconductoring works in seven feeder areas on Thursday. Therefore, power supply will remain disrupted in the concerned area. These feeders include Nirala Nagar, Sector C-Old, New-26 Meston Road, Harsh Nagar, Ashok Nagar, Sundar Nagar, E-Block, Double Puliya and Swaraj India. Due to the work of installing HT poles in Nirala Nagar, power supply will remain disrupted in Vinoba Nagar, Peeli Colony, Lal Colony, Hari Colony from 11 am to 1 pm.

Kesco media in-charge Devendra Kumar Verma said that work of installing HT poles will also be going on in Sector C-Old, hence there will be no electricity from 12 noon to 2 pm. Cable laying work will be going on in New-26 Meston Road area from 11 am to noon. Consumer connection shifting work will be going on in New-26 Meston Road area from 11 am to 12 noon. Consumer connection shifting work will be going on in Harsh Nagar, Ashok Nagar. Hence electricity supply will be disrupted here from 10 am to 2.30 pm.

Consumer connection shifting work will be carried out in Sunder Nagar, E-Block. Therefore, there will be no power supply here from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. 11 KV reconductoring work will be carried out in the Double Pulia and Swaraj India areas. Therefore, power supply will be cut off in the Double Pulia area from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM and in the Swaraj India area from 11:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
