News Topical, Digital Desk : A senior leader in Pakistan's Punjab province has claimed that the land of a temple has been illegally occupied at the behest of a top bureaucrat. A plaza is now being built there.

This 'Sanatan Dharma Mandir' is located in Bhalwal, about 250 km from Lahore. Senior Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Nadeem Afzal Chan in a video posted on Twitter alleged that the temple land in Bhalwal was illegally occupied at the behest of Punjab Chief Secretary Zaheed Akhtar Zaman.

Bilawal's close friend Chan made this allegation

Chan, a close aide of PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, also alleged that not only this land, but also several acres of Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) land at Bhera and Kot Momin in Sargodha, which oversees holy places of minorities in Pakistan, have been illegally occupied by the chief secretary's nephews.

Who occupied it?

Chan said, "The chief secretary's nephew is involved in occupying temple land in these three areas. Everyone is naming two MLAs who are nephews of the chief secretary." The chief secretary refrained from commenting on the matter.
