The agreement between India and America was signed yesterday

Yesterday, US President Donald Trump posted on Twitter about the trade deal between India and the US. Trump wrote that Prime Minister Modi is one of his "best friends" and that the two leaders reached this agreement based on friendship and respect.

Trump also said he agreed to reduce reciprocal tariffs imposed on India at PM Modi's request. There was no clarification from the Indian Foreign Ministry on Trump's post as of 11 p.m., but Prime Minister Modi later confirmed the conversation in a post on Instagram.
