Once Twinkle Khanna told an anecdote related to her sister Rinke Khanna. This anecdote was funny for her, but her sister was very angry. This was the time when her husband Sameer Saran came to meet her sister for the first time. Then, regarding her father, Twinkle said that she is not her daughter but Vinod Khanna's daughter.
Twinkle used to tease Rinke a lot
In January last year, Twinkle Khanna shared an anecdote related to her sister and brother-in-law through an Instagram post. The actress shared throwback photos with her sister Rinke and wrote, “My sister and I have an age difference of one year. I have always been tall and she is short. Sometimes, we looked like Tom and Jerry and sometimes Laurel and Hardy because of my weight. Of course, we used to tease each other mercilessly.”
Twinkle's sister was furious
Twinkle Khanna revealed that when Rinke heard this, she was furious. According to the Mela actress, “As her husband remembers, when he first came to meet my sister, I told him, 'You should know that we have different fathers. My father is Vinod Khanna and her father is Rajesh Khanna , so I am tall and she is not.' My sister was furious, although I found it quite funny.”
I told my sister that I was a supporter
Twinkle added, "Whenever I am in trouble she is the first one I come to. She calls me every day, even if it is for something trivial. I can't say that if life is a desert, she is my only oasis, but I know that in the scorching sun, she will absolutely share her wide-brimmed hat with me, even if it is just to give me some shade."
