These gangs deceived women and young women under the pretext of providing them jobs and then sold them into illegal hands. One young woman was even taken to Agra and Aligarh, where she was sexually exploited.
According to the police, other individuals are also involved in this gang and they will be arrested soon. Their targets were minor girls from poor families, who were easy victims. The existence of such gangs in the area has raised many questions.
The girl was sold for Rs 1.2 lakh
Acting on a tip-off, the Robertsganj police station arrested two female suspects, Bindu and Soni, from the village of Pawar. During interrogation, the shocking revelation was made that the two men lured a minor girl with the promise of a job, took her to Agra and Aligarh via various districts, and sold her for approximately one lakh twenty thousand rupees. The victim was then kept with various individuals, where she was subjected to forced physical abuse and became pregnant.
Both are involved in human trafficking.
The investigation has also revealed that this entire case is linked to an organized human trafficking ring, with the involvement of other individuals. Currently, the police are conducting raids to arrest the other accused and are promising strict action in this case.
The police are currently silent on the involvement of several high-profile and high-profile individuals in this case.
