News Topical, Digital Desk : A shocking incident has come to light in which a drunk girl created a ruckus and bit the hand of a female police sub-inspector at the Baner police station in Pune, Maharashtra. Police have registered a case against the girl and her friend under various sections, including obstruction of government duty.
According to police information, the incident occurred between 11:45 pm on March 3 and around 5:30 am on March 4. The accused girl has been identified as 24-year-old Mansi Champalal Parihar, a student. Her friend is 24-year-old Yuvraj Nilesh Partani, originally from Haryana and working in Pune.
After drinking alcohol, there was a fight over something.
It is reported that the two had gone to a restaurant in the Balewadi area of Pune on March 3rd for a party. After drinking alcohol, they got into an argument over something, which led to a commotion in the restaurant. Upon receiving information, police arrived at the scene. Mansi told the police that she had been assaulted and immediately demanded the hotel's CCTV footage.
The hotel manager explained that the CCTV control unit was in Mumbai and the footage could be made available the next day. The police asked the two men to come to the police station to file a complaint, but they began arguing and abusing the police.
Pulled off the police sub-inspector's uniform and cut his hand.
The police then took them to the Baner police station and asked them to undergo a medical examination. However, even after reaching the police station, they continued to create a ruckus. Meanwhile, Mansi pulled off the uniform of a female police sub-inspector and bit her hand. Furthermore, she threatened to commit suicide, saying she would name the Baner police station and its police officers in her suicide note.
Yuvraj also threatened the police, saying he could use his power to take away their jobs. Both men said they would return to the police station the next day after receiving treatment, but they have not yet returned. Police have registered a case against both accused under obstruction of government work and other relevant sections, and further investigation is underway.
