Gauri-Shankar Puja Method (Shiv-Parvati Puja)
On the day of Hartalika Teej, wake up early in the morning and after taking bath etc. wear clean clothes, especially green or red coloured clothes. In the auspicious muhurat, spread a clean cloth on the chowki at the place of worship and install the clay idols of Mata Parvati, Lord Shiva and Ganesh Ji made by yourself.
First of all worship Lord Ganesha and then worship Gauri-Shankar with proper rituals. Offer 16 makeup items to Goddess Gauri and listen to the Hartalika Teej Vrat Katha. You can also chant these mantras during the puja -
