In the Bahadurgarh police station area, a dispute between an electrical contractor and a consumer led to the police arriving at the scene and taking both the consumer and the worker to the police station. Showing their authority, the police took action against the lineman for disturbing the peace.

When the electricity workers learned of this, they were enraged and went to the police station. There, they argued with the police for a long time. Following the dispute, the workers, in an attempt to assert their authority, turned off the police station's lights. Furthermore, they posted a notice outside the station demanding payment of the outstanding amount of ₹343,974 to the electricity department.

What is the whole matter after all?

According to information, Pradeep Kumar, a resident of Bhadasyana village in the Bahadurgarh police station area, is employed as a contract worker in the electricity department. It is reported that Pradeep had gone to Amarpal's house in the village to collect the outstanding electricity bill. While paying the bill, an argument broke out between Amarpal and Pradeep.

The dispute escalated to the point where police from Bahadurgarh police station were called to the scene. The police arrived and took consumer Amarpal and electricity worker Pradeep to the police station. When other electricity department employees and officials learned of this, they went to the police station on Pradeep's behalf.

Electricity workers filed a consumer complaint

At the police station, electricity workers filed a complaint against consumer Amarpal for failing to pay the outstanding electricity bill and for misbehaving with contract worker Pradeep. Police took action against the contract worker and consumer Amarpal for disturbing the peace.

Angered by this, the electricity workers first posted a notice outside the police station stating that the electricity bill was outstanding for ₹343,974 and then cut off the power supply to the Bahadurgarh police station and outpost. It is being reported that the policemen at the Bahadurgarh outpost were using stolen electricity.

Following this incident, police officers are now contacting electricity department officials to try to get the police station's electricity reconnected. Now, the electricity workers are teaching the police officers to follow the law.
