Police said the gunmen entered the gym on Deshpran Sashmal Road and began searching for its owner, Jay Kamdar. Unable to find the gym owner, they fired two shots in the air and fled, police said. Police said they were investigating all aspects of the incident and trying to determine whether it was a business rivalry or an extortion attempt.

No one was injured in the firing

Police said no one was injured in the shooting. They also stated that efforts are underway to apprehend the shooters, who have not yet been identified. Police said they have recorded statements from the gym owner and some eyewitnesses. Police said the gym was crowded at the time of the incident. An employee said, "We have been working here for about a year and such an incident has never happened before."
