Gujarat: Police raided a high-profile rooftop liquor party, arresting 17 boys and four girls.

News Topical, Digital Desk : Gujarat News: On the occasion of Uttarayan festival in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, police raided a large party filled with alcohol, drugs, and hookahs, causing a sensation. The raid took place on the terrace of Central Vista in the Panchavati area, where a group of young men and women were openly partying while intoxicated. As soon as the police arrived, a stampede broke out, and many people began to flee. A total of 21 people, including four girls, were detained at the scene.

How did the police get the news?

The incident came to light when neighbors, disturbed by the loud DJ sound, commotion, and behavior of intoxicated youth, sent a message to the control room. Upon receiving the information, university police immediately arrived at the scene and raided the terrace. Furthermore, liquor bottles, biting, and hookahs of various flavors were found on the terrace.

The entire party was organized by a young man named Kushal Shah. Police have learned that the son of a prominent builder was also present at the party, but he fled the scene as soon as the raid began.

Liquor party also caught in Gulbai Tekra

On the same day, another high-profile party was caught at the Sanatorian Vista in the Gulbai Tekra area. Here, 21 people were celebrating with alcohol on the terrace. Serving alcohol at both venues was completely illegal, as Gujarat is a dry state where alcohol is prohibited.

The entire event was taking place just 500 meters from the Gujarat University Police Station, prompting police to take even more stringent action. During the raid, police arrested 16 people on the spot, and legal proceedings are underway against the remaining suspects.

Investigation is underway, action will be taken against all

The police have begun preparations to file a case against all those arrested. The organizer will be charged with serious offenses. Locals say such parties create an atmosphere of insecurity in the area, and therefore the police action is justified.
