Thailand has handed them over to India. A CBI team is returning by flight with them. On the night of December 6th, a massive fire broke out at a nightclub in Arpora, Goa, killing 25 people, including five tourists. The Luthra brothers were in Delhi at the time of the incident and fled to Thailand immediately afterward.
Video surfaced from Bangkok airport
A video of the Luthra brothers from Bangkok Airport in Thailand has also surfaced. With the help of Interpol and the Indian High Commission, Gaurav Luthra and Saurabh Luthra have been extradited. The CBI has left for Delhi with both accused. Upon arrival in Delhi, the Luthra brothers will be produced in Patiala House Court.
FIR lodged against Luthra brothers
A case of culpable homicide and negligence has been filed against the Luthra brothers. On the night of the incident, they were in Delhi attending a wedding. Upon learning of the fire at the club, they fled to Thailand on an Indigo flight.
Thai police arrested him in Phuket
At India's request, Thai police detained them in Phuket on December 9th. India also revoked their passports, preventing them from fleeing. A CBI team arrived in Thailand yesterday and, after completing the extradition process, Thailand handed over the Luthra brothers to India.
