News Topical, Digital Desk : Gangster Harpinder Singh alias Middu, involved in the murder of a police officer and a kabaddi player in Lalru, Mohali, was killed in an encounter. The Mohali SSP confirmed his death. According to police, the gangster was involved in the conspiracy to murder kabaddi player Kanwar Digvijay Singh alias Rana Balachauriya. However, he was not one of the shooters. The injured gangster, Harpinder Singh alias Middu, was a resident of Tarn Taran. Two police officers were also injured while pursuing him.

Ashdeep had come to India from Russia on November 25.
