The SP chief said that public anger is growing against electricity fraud through smart meters. He alleged that this government takes advance commissions from companies before awarding contracts, which are then repaid by charging higher bills to consumers.

He also accused the BJP of defaming socialists and said that despite its misleading propaganda, none of the BJP's tricks will work. The people of the state are fed up with the BJP and want change. He said that inflation and corruption are at their peak, the situation of women's safety is worrying, and the public has lost faith in the BJP.
