News Topical, Digital Desk : Saif al-Islam Gaddafi, son of former Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi, was shot dead by assailants at his residence in the western Libyan city of Zintan on Tuesday.
Saif al-Islam's political team confirmed the incident. The incident occurred around noon when four masked gunmen stormed his home.
The attackers first destroyed the house's surveillance cameras and then directly killed Saif al-Islam . Abdullah Othman Abdurrahim, a member of his political team, reported this on Facebook. The team called it a "cowardly and treacherous murder."
