News Topical, Digital Desk : Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar filed his nomination for the Rajya Sabha last Thursday (March 5, 2026). However, JDU workers are understandably angry about this, expressing their outrage. Today (Friday), for the second consecutive day, the JDU office remained crowded with workers. Posters have been put up outside the office, and postcards are being written.

The poster reads, "Nitish's servants are calling out, leaders should reconsider their decision." Along with this, workers are writing their feelings to Nitish Kumar through postcards. One worker wrote, "Chief Minister, please understand the feelings of the people of Bihar and reverse your decision."

Your decision is not in the public interest.

The workers clearly stated that Nitish Kumar's decision has hurt the people of Bihar and his supporters. Therefore, they are sending postcards to tell him that his decision is not in the public's interest. He should withdraw this decision. Thousands of postcards will be sent to him. The postcards are being written today (Friday) at the JDU office premises and will arrive tomorrow (Saturday).

'We will answer the betrayal in 2030'

One activist said, "Nitish Kumar's decision was certainly made under pressure. He has been betrayed by those around him, but we will respond to their betrayal. Nishant Kumar will become Chief Minister in 2030, a claim made by JDU workers. For now, we want Nitish Kumar to reverse his decision because the people of Bihar need it."

It's worth noting that Nitish Kumar will be the Chief Minister of Bihar for about a month. Following his decision and nomination to the Rajya Sabha, the Chief Minister has called an emergency meeting of party MLAs and MPs at his residence today at 5 p.m. It's expected that Nitish Kumar will inform everyone about his decision.
