News Topical, Digital Desk : A major and tragic accident occurred on the Lucknow-Agra Expressway in Uttar Pradesh's Unnao district today ( December 16th ) at around 6 a.m. In the Bangarmau Kotwali area, a speeding luxury car collided with a divider amid dense fog, killing four people on the spot. According to preliminary information, the car was traveling from Agra to Lucknow. The accident occurred near the airstrip when the driver reportedly dozed off, and the car collided with an unknown vehicle and then struck a divider, completely shattering one side of the vehicle.
Identification of the dead
All four people who died in the accident were residents of Ghaziabad district. Two of the deceased are said to be prominent black salt traders and were also associated with the party of Om Prakash Rajbhar, president of the Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP). The deceased have been identified as follows:
Ashok Kumar Agarwal (s/o Santosh Agarwal, about 55 years), r/o VIP Extension Raj Nagar Extension, Ghaziabad.
Abhinav Agarwal (son of Satish Agarwal, about 20 years old), resident of Govindpuri Modinagar, Ghaziabad.
Akash Agarwal (son of Vinod Agarwal), resident of Modinagar, Ghaziabad.
Skilled (driver).
rescue operation
Upon receiving information about the incident, a team from the UP Expressway Industrial Development Authority (UPEDA) and the police arrived at the scene. With the assistance of the UPEDA team, the police conducted a rescue operation at the scene, brought the situation under control, and took possession of all four bodies and sent them for post-mortem. Road safety experts are once again urging people to drive slowly and maintain a safe distance in dense fog.
