News Topical, Digital Desk : A tragic road accident in the Bindki police station area of Fatehpur district on Sunday evening (April 12) shattered the lives of several families. A speeding car hit three bikes in quick succession near Korwa village and fled the scene. Three people died on the spot, while four others, including innocent children, were seriously injured.
According to eyewitnesses, around 7 p.m., a speeding four-wheeler suddenly lost control and collided with three oncoming bikes. The impact was so severe that all the bikers fell onto the road, causing a scream. After the accident, the accused driver fled the scene in his car.
Innocent children were also injured
Mamta Devi (35), her 8-year-old daughter Pallavi, 10-year-old son Arpit, and driver Surendra Kumar were injured on the first bike. Satyawan Soni (26) and Manoj Soni (18) were on the second bike, while Annu Sonkar (40) was on the third. All were immediately rushed to the hospital.

The injured were taken to the community health center and the district hospital, where doctors declared Manoj Soni, Satyawan Soni, and Annu Sonkar dead. Mamta Devi remains in critical condition and has been referred to the Fatehpur district hospital.
There was chaos in the area, police engaged in investigation
Upon receiving information about the incident, police arrived at the scene and began an investigation. The area is mourning the tragedy, and the families of the deceased are inconsolable.
Police are searching for the fleeing driver and examining CCTV footage from the surrounding area. Police say the accused driver will be arrested as soon as possible. This accident once again highlights the dangers of speeding and reckless driving.
