New Delhi. Fans of House of Dragons are eagerly waiting for the finale of season 2. This series, starring Matt Smith and Olivia Cooke, was to be streamed on HBO Max and Jio Cinema. But its final episode got leaked online even before its release.

Makers gave information on X

"#HouseOfTheDragon season finale titled 'The Queen Who Never Was' has been accidentally leaked online. Please be careful on Twitter and tagging till it airs on Sunday. There are already a lot of spoilers floating around online. Later, the makers changed the episode title to 'The Queen Who Ever Was'," the handle Westerosies' posted on Wednesday.

The leaked episode will be removed.

HBO released an official statement on Thursday when the episode leaked. The network said, "We know that clips from the season finale of House of the Dragon have surfaced on social media platforms. The clip was posted without permission with the help of an international third-party distributor. HBO is monitoring this and working to remove the clip from the internet. Fans can watch the episode in full on HBO and Max this Sunday night."

'House of the Dragon' is based on George RR Martin's novel Fire and Blood. Apart from English, viewers can also watch it in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Bengali, and Marathi. House of the Dragon is set in the events that took place 100 years after the Targaryens united the seven kingdoms.
