New Delhi: In July, many movies including 'Sarfira', 'Bad News' were released in theatres, but they could not do anything special at the box office. Now many movies are going to be released simultaneously in the month of August, out of which Ajay Devgan and Tabu starrer 'Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha' and Janhvi Kapoor starrer 'Uljh' have already hit the theatres.

Both these films are of different genres. While 'Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha' is a romantic drama, ' Uljh ' is a thriller, which is the complete opposite of it. Both these films which had a slow start on their opening day are now seen to be flops. Now their Wednesday collection has come out. Let's know how much business the film has done.

Others did not have the strength to collect so much

Ajay Devgan and Tabu starrer Auron Mein Kahaan Dum Tha, which released in theatres on 2 August, is directed by Neeraj Pandey. This movie is based on a love story, which is getting mixed response from the people. The film did a business of 1.85 crores on its opening day. After this, its collection gradually increased a bit over the weekend.

However, the collection started falling again on weekdays. Now according to the early trade of Sakanilk, the film has done an estimated business of 75 lakhs on Wednesday. In this way, its total collection has become Rs 9.45 crores. Let us tell you that many stars including Shantanu Maheshwari, Sai Manjrekar, Jimmy Shergill and Sayaji Shinde have also appeared in this movie.

Uljh did so much business

On the other hand, Janhvi Kapoor and Gulshan Devaiah starrer film Uljh also hit the theatres on the same day. This movie is directed by Sudhanshu Saria, in which the actress has played the role of an IFS officer. This movie did a business of Rs 1.15 crore on its opening day.

Now according to the early trade of Saknilk, Uljha has done an estimated business of 60 lakhs on Wednesday. In this way, its total collection has become Rs 6.80 crores.
