Preity Zinta became the mother of twins through surrogacy in the year 2021. However, she had also resorted to IVF before choosing the path of surrogacy. In a recent interview, Preity told how broken she was from inside during the days of IVF. She did not even feel like talking to anyone.

Preity Zinta expressed her pain

In an interview with Vogue, Preity Zinta said, "I have good and bad days like everyone else. Sometimes it's hard to be happy all the time in real life, especially when you're going through a tough time. I felt the same way during my IVF cycles. It was very difficult to smile and be nice all the time. Sometimes I just wanted to bang my head against the wall and cry or not talk to anyone. So yes, it's a balancing act for all actors."

Became a mother through surrogacy

49-year-old Preity Zinta married Gene Goodenough in 2016. In the year 2021, Preity and Gene became parents for the first time. They welcomed twins through surrogacy. They named their son Jai and their daughter Jiya. The actress often shares photos or videos with her children.

Preity Zinta's superhit film Veer Zaara is going to be re-released on the big screen soon . Her love story with Shah Rukh Khan was highly appreciated by the people. Now fans are eagerly waiting to see it once again on the big screen. This film will be re-released in theatres on 13 September.
