New Delhi: There is good news for Joker fans in India. Joker will be arriving to meet them two days before the rest of the world. The next part of the film series Joker: Folie à Deux is releasing in October. On Wednesday, the makers announced the India release date with two new posters. 

The posters show Joker and his girlfriend Harley Quinn. Joaquin Phoenix is ​​playing the role of Joker and Lady Gaga is playing the role of Harley. The posters shared from Warner Bros India's X handle read - The much-awaited sequel is coming earlier than expected. Joker - Folie a dou is coming to Indian theatres two days earlier on Wednesday, October 2. The film will be released in the US on October 4. 

Directed by Todd Phillips, the film stars Joaquin and Gaga alongside Brendan Gleeson, Catherine Keener and Zazie Beetz.
