A few days ago, Bengali actress Srilekha Mishra had accused Ranjit of sexual harassment. Now a man from Kozhikode has accused Ranjit of sexual abuse. The man says that Ranjit misbehaved with him in a five star hotel in the year 2012.

In an interview with Asianet News, the accused has narrated his ordeal. The man said that he met Ranjith during the shooting of Mammootty starrer Baavuttiyude Namathil in Kozhikode. He went to the set to watch the shooting and got a chance to meet Ranjith. He expressed his interest in acting and seeing this, Ranjith wrote his phone number on a tissue paper and gave it to him.

Ranjit asked the man to text him instead of calling him. The man claimed that when he messaged the filmmaker, he asked him to come to Bangalore. The man reached the Taj Hotel in Bangalore two days later. He reached the hotel at 10 am. The receptionist refused to introduce him to Ranjit because the hotel's visitor hours were over. After talking to Ranjit, the man entered his room through the back door.

Did Ranjit demand the man to remove his clothes?

The complainant claims that as soon as he reached Ranjit's room, the filmmaker was drinking alcohol. He offered alcohol to the man and at first he refused and then drank with Ranjit. The man has alleged that after drinking, Ranjit asked him to remove his clothes. Ranjit told the man that he wanted to see how he looks without clothes. Not only this, Ranjit also asked him to apply kajal in his eyes.

Ranjit took nude photos of the man

According to Times of India, the man has also accused Ranjit of taking nude photos of him. The man says that the filmmaker took nude photos of him and said that he wants to show it to his girlfriend who is an actress by profession and is staying in the same hotel. After this incident, Ranjit started ignoring him. He says that the MeToo movement and the Hema Committee report gave him the courage to speak up.
