News Topical, Digital Desk : Chief Electoral Officer, Bihar has asked Rahul Gandhi for information about the voters who were shown in the video. Actually, Rahul had posted a video in which he is seen talking to voters. In the caption of this video, Rahul had written, “People who voted in the last 4-5 elections, their votes were also stolen in Bihar. And, when asked the reason, the only answer received was - an order has come from above. This is a fight for the rights of the poor - we will not stop. We will stop vote theft.”

What did the Chief Electoral Officer, Bihar say?

The Chief Electoral Officer, Bihar has replied to this video of Rahul Gandhi and said on the x, “Please provide the EPIC number and other detailed details of the voters shown in the video in the prescribed form, so that necessary investigation can be done in this regard and further action can be taken. It is also requested that the concerned voters should be assisted in registering their entries during the claim-objection period. The last date for filing claims-objections is 1 September 2025. As per the instructions of the Election Commission of India, the booth level agent of any political party can submit claims-objections in the prescribed form and manifesto. Apart from this, any voter can submit claims-objections in Form 6, 7 and 8 at the individual level. 

Rahul also targeted the Election Commission in Gaya

Rahul Gandhi also targeted the Election Commission during the 'Voter Rights Yatra' in Gaya, Bihar. He said, "When they do 'vote theft', they attack this soul (Constitution), they attack the Constitution, they attack Bharat Mata. We will not let Narendra Modi nor the Election Commission attack it. No one can erase this Constitution. Election Commissioner, understand one thing very well - if you do not do your work, strict action will be taken against you."
