A 21-year-old man threw a 17-year-old minor 12th-grade student from a rooftop. The student had resisted the rape, and the accused had been raping her for eight years. During this period, the girl also fell into depression. After the family informed the police, the police registered a case and arrested the accused.
According to ACP Modinagar Amit Saxena, the victim's family lives in the Niwari police station area. They have a 17-year-old daughter in the 12th grade. The girl's aunt's son, Krishna, who is 21 years old, lives with them. The family's complaint to the police states that on October 20th, the accused Krishna approached the girl sleeping on the rooftop and attempted to rape her. When the girl resisted, he pushed her off the rooftop.
The accused had been raping the girl for the past eight years.
However, the girl initially denied the truth to her family, claiming she had slipped from the roof. When a doctor conducted a psychological investigation, the family was devastated. She revealed that Krishna had been raping her for eight years, a fact she hadn't known about as a child.
The accused kept raping by threatening to kill her.
When the victim learned of this heinous act, she protested, prompting the accused, Krishna, to threaten to kill her. Consequently, whenever she went out, Krishna would rape her. The family has filed a police complaint.
Police arrested the accused
The police have taken action on the family's complaint. They have registered a case under sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and rape. The accused has been arrested. The girl also suffered from depression during this time and is receiving treatment.
