When is Ekadashi in December (Ekadashi December 2025 Date and Time)

This time the month of December is considered very important because in this month Mokshada Ekadashi, Saphala Ekadashi and Paush Putrada Ekadashi fasts will be observed.

Mokshada Ekadashi 2025 Date and Shubh Muhurat

According to the Vedic calendar, the Ekadashi Tithi of the Shukla Paksha (waxing phase) of the Margashirsha month begins on November 30th at 9:29 PM. This Tithi will end on December 1st at 7:01 PM. Therefore, the Mokshada Ekadashi fast will be observed on December 1st.

Saphala Ekadashi 2025 Date and Auspicious Time

According to the Vedic calendar, the Ekadashi Tithi of the Krishna Paksha (dark fortnight) of the month of Paush begins at 8:46 pm on December 14th and ends at 10:09 pm on December 15th. Therefore, the Saphala Ekadashi fast will be observed on December 15th.

Paush Putrada Ekadashi 2025 Date and Auspicious Time

According to the calendar, Pausha Putrada Ekadashi will begin at 7:50 am on December 30th. It will end at 5 am on December 31st. Therefore, the Pausha Putrada Ekadashi fast will be observed on December 30th, and the fast will be broken on December 31st.

Keep these things in mind during fasting

  • Do not fight with anyone during Ekadashi fast .
  • Take special care of the cleanliness of the house and temple.
  • Do not consume tamasic food.
  • Do not wear black clothes.
  • Break the fast on the next day i.e. Dwadashi Tithi.
  • Donate things like food, money etc.
