News Topical, Digital Desk : Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has announced new office hours for the winter in response to rising pollution. This decision was taken to reduce traffic congestion on the roads. The new arrangement will be effective from November 15, 2025, to February 15, 2026. Delhi government offices will now operate from 10:00 am to 6:30 pm, while Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) offices will operate from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. The decision was made after a meeting with officials from the Environment Department.

What is the timing of the offices now?

Currently, Delhi government offices operate from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm, while MCD offices operate from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. This mere 30-minute difference in opening hours results in heavy traffic and congestion both morning and evening, further contributing to air pollution.
