News Topical, Digital Desk : The third installment of Hollywood's highest-grossing sci-fi film, Avatar, is set to release. The film will be released worldwide as well as in India on December 19th, competing with Bollywood films "Sitaron Ke Sitare" and "Durlabh Prasad Ki Doosri Shaadi" in theaters.
Even before the film hits theaters, SS Rajamouli, director of Priyanka Chopra and Mahesh Babu's "Varanasi," has seen Avatar: Fire and Ashes. The director not only viewed Avatar 3 from an audience perspective, but also provided a full review.
Rajamouli gave this review after watching Avatar: Fire and Ash.
Director SS Rajamouli recently joined James Cameron virtually, where he gave the director a full review of the film and thanked him. Rajamouli said, “First of all, I would like to thank you because I am the first person out of 1.4 billion people to have seen Avatar: Fire and Ashes. I feel very special.”
While reviewing, the Baahubali director further said, “Watching Fire and Ash was a wonderful experience. Hats off to you for creating such intricate visuals, characters and complex sequences. I can't stop talking. I felt like a kid in the theatre watching the Wind Traders, Ash People and the new characters. Varang is amazing.”
Even after coming out of the theatre, the film did not go out of my mind.
However, while reviewing the entire film, Rajamouli named the character of Jake Sully as his favourite and said, "For me, the experience was such that I walked out of the theatre, but the movie wouldn't leave my mind. What kept me hooked the most was Jake's moral dilemma. His values in the first incarnation were so strong, I thought what could be more than that, but this one is even stronger."
Rajamouli also hinted at the clash between Varang and Netri, a former human military commander Miles Quaritch and Jake in the third part. He said, “The film has two beautiful clashes, the first between Miles and Jake and the second between Netri and Varang. I didn't like Miles in the first film, but in Fire and Ash, I want to hate him but can't. The conversations between Miles and Jake are beautifully written, with a lot of pain.”
Avengers: Endgame also failed to move ahead
Avatar is the world's highest-grossing film franchise. The first installment was released in 2009, and the second, Avatar: The Way of Water, was released in 2022. The third installment is set to release on December 19th.
